DESCRIPTION:Enjoy an afternoon of Latin American music\, highlighted by the Guitar Concerto of Mexican composer Ponce featuring local favorite Kenneth Meyer. SYO Concerto Competition winner Abigail Feng joins for a performance of Elgar’s Concerto in E minor for Cello & Orchestra. Music by Chilean composer Enrique Soro and Argentinian composer Piazolla rounds out the concert. The dance and folk-inspired themes of these pieces will move and inspire you.
