Singer, songwriter, actress and world class entertainer, Emily West is a paradox of contemporary class and irreverent charm. Known for her powerhouse voice and dazzling artistry, she captivates audiences with a unique blend of wit, vulnerability and conviction. From Country to Broadway to Contemporary Pop, this woman is a troubadour of soulful evocation.
At the age of 18 the Waterloo, Iowa native moved to Nashville and signed with Capitol Records. The release of Rock In Your Shoes landed in the top 40 on Billboard’s Hot Country charts. The haunting duet Blue Sky with Keith Urban also found a home in the top 40, and was met with critical praise, and nominated for the Academy of Country Music Awards’ vocal event of the year in 2008.
West moved to New York city in 2013 in pursuit of her dream to perform on Broadway. It was there that she found herself auditioning for season 9 of America’s Got Talent. The show saw her rise as an immensely popular crowd favorite, with every performance ending in standing ovations. Howard Stern declared West “The most original singer to have ever performed in the history of America’s Got Talent”.
Following her success as finalist and ultimate runner up on the show, West signed with Sony Masterworks and released her debut album All For You which showcased her songwriting prowess and genre-bending artistry.
After touring the country as an opening act for Jay Leno, West went to work on her EP Symphonies. She recently debuted her one woman show The Classic Series at the Riviera Hotel in Palm Springs, and performs regularly at the famed Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN.
She is also developing an epic story-telling stage show called Shiners with Country singer/songwriter Chuck Wicks at The Woolworth Theatre in Nashville, TN. In 2022, West released her next solo album Dear Diary to great critical acclaim.

Teenage bar bands gave way to a move to Nashville, TN where he established himself as one of the most in demand young writers on Music Row, with cuts ranging from Meat Loaf to David Nail. An artist and dynamic performer as well as a songwriter, Brantley cut his teeth early and secured a well-earned reputation as a consummate “road dog” touring virtually nonstop all over the world for the next decade, opening for everyone from John Hiatt to Kiefer Sutherland to Zac Brown and Brandy Clark, as well as headlining his own shows from Ontario to Hamburg and back.
Now some fifteen years into his career, Brantley has only added to his impressive portfolio, producing acclaimed records with artists like Rob Baird and Justin Halpin, among others and directing music videos in his down time.

Sean O’Loughlin (b.1972) is the Principal Pops Conductor of The Syracuse Orchestra and the newly appointed Principal Pops Conductor of the Victoria Symphony in Victoria, B.C. Canada. He is a fresh voice and a rising name in the music world. His music is characterized by vibrant rhythms, passionate melodies, and colorful scoring. Commissions from the Boston Pops Orchestra, the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra highlight and showcase his diverse musical abilities. As a conductor, he has led performances with the Boston Pops Orchestra, the San Francisco Symphony, the Chicago Symphony, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, the Minnesota Orchestra, the Dallas Symphony, the Vancouver Symphony, the Atlanta Symphony, the Baltimore Symphony, the Houston Symphony, the Victoria Symphony and the Seattle Symphony amongst others. The Los Angeles Times calls his orchestrations “…magnificent and colorful” while adding “…even more dimension…” to the compositions. Daily Variety heralds Sean’s writing as “most impressive …” with a “wide range of coloring in the orchestra…” that “…adds heft and rolling energy.
Through his growing number of commissioned and published works, Sean is excited to continue contributing to the rich history of orchestral and wind band literature. His music is published by Excelcia Music, Hal Leonard and Carl Fischer. He is a frequent guest conductor with professional orchestras around the country and abroad. An annual ASCAP Special Awards winner, Sean was a composition fellow at the Henry Mancini Institute in Los Angeles, and holds composition degrees from New England Conservatory and Syracuse University.
Native Virginian and Nashville transplant Bryan Dawley has been making music professionally for the past 15 years. His journey began at Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WV, where he not only double majored in Classical Bass Performance and Jazz Studies but began to experiment with traditional Appalachian instruments.

Native Virginian and Nashville transplant Bryan Dawley has been making music professionally for the past 15 years. His journey began at Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WV, where he not only double majored in Classical Bass Performance and Jazz Studies but began to experiment with traditional Appalachian instruments.
Fusing the two, Dawley began playing professionally in the DC area and eventually started his band of 10 years, Native Run, with friend and fellow collaborator Rachel Beauregard. After a move to Music City, the two enjoyed great success, signing to Showdog Universal Records and Creative Nation/Combustion Publishing, and touring the world with various artists spanning from Lady A to John Hiatt to Carrie Underwood.
In recent years, Dawley has toured with singer/songwriter Ruston Kelly, and began a music production career in 2019. Bryan lives in East Nashville with his wife Karrie and two kids, Clara and Levi.

Leaving a Musical Legacy: Evelyn Brenzel
Music was central to Evelyn Brenzel’s life. A longtime math teacher at HW Smith High School and devoted caretaker for her beloved Doberman Pinschers, Evelyn was a committed member of the Symphoria Family.
Evelyn’s friend shares how much music meant to Evelyn: “When Maestro Loh spoke the words “Beethoven’s Seventh” at the 2020 Symphoria reveal party, Evelyn turned to me with a look of such joy on her face that it still gives me goosebumps. We continued to attend live concerts with her until the very night before the state shut it all down in March.
We were worried about how she would cope, but technology saved the day. After Symphoria’s very moving streamed performance of the Seventh last fall, she emailed me to say ‘I’m in heaven.’”
Not only did Evelyn attend as many performances as possible as an audience member, but she was also a musician. As a college student, Evelyn had the opportunity to sing the Brahms Requiem with the Philadelphia Orchestra on a live broadcast as the nation mourned the assassination of President Kennedy in November 1963. Sadly, Evelyn passed away in December 2020.
We were honored to learn that she generously included Symphoria in her will, making sure that future audiences will have access to the beautiful music she loved so much.
