Join The Syracuse Orchestra and internationally-renowned concert pianist Sara Davis Buechner for a spectacular end to our 2024-25 concert season!
As well as being an acclaimed pianist (including awards such as Bronze Medalist of the 1986 Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow and Gold Medalist of the 1984 Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition), Sara Davis Buechner is a proud transgender woman and activist. She has appeared as a speaker and performer at important LGBTQIA+ events, and has contributed interviews and articles about her own experience to numerous media outlets worldwide.

The concert will feature Ms. Buechner performing the Liszt Piano Concerto No. 1 and end with a performance of Mahler’s monumental Symphony No. 1, often referred to as “The Titan.”
How to order with the discount code:
- Click the button above or follow this link. If you’d rather avoid the fuss of ordering online, just call our box office at 315-299-5598 and press 1. (Open weekdays between 9:30 am – 3:30 pm).
- Click on the button under the concert date (you want a ticket to the concert, not the concert shuttle)
- Click on the section labeled “Orchestra”
- Choose as many seats as you’d in the price range of $0-$47 (check the seat map below for which seats are eligible for the code.) Then, click “Next”
- Choose how you’d like to receive your tickets (Email, Ship, or Will Call). Then, click “Next.”
- The next screen has a field for the discount code. Enter “PRIDE10” and click “Apply,” and your total will adjust to $10/ticket.
- Complete the payment process as directed by entering your contact information and payment information.
- The $10 tickets are only available in the indicated section in the Orchestra level.
