In preparation for Symphoria’s Masquerade concert on October 10, we’re teaming up with the Everson Museum of Art for a fun kids contest!
Go to everson.org and print out the mask template and start creating! Use paint, crayons, feathers… whatever you have on hand to make it fun! Once your child’s mask is complete, take a picture and submit it below. This contest is open to kids 5 to 16, with photos to be submitted by a parent or guardian.
Winners get a family live-stream ticket to see Symphoria’s Masquerade concert AND a one-year family membership to the Everson Museum of Art. Plus, your child’s entry could be seen on websites, social media, and during Symphoria’s pre-concert online events!
To begin, click HERE to download and print the mask template. When your child’s mask is complete, take a picture! And it’s easy to submit it in the form below. Entry deadline is 11:59pm on Thursday, October 1, 2020.
Good luck from Symphoria and the Everson Museum of Art!

What is Masquerade? It is Symphoria’s live-streamed concert on Saturday, October 10! Experience special ensemble performances featuring members of Symphoria’s percussion and string sections. The masked theme of Masquerade is appropriate to what’s going on right now — for health and with the approach of Halloween! And music in the concert also reflects the invisible masks people wear, as some of the featured composers showed one face to the world while hiding their true selves in order to survive.
