MEET THE ORCHESTRA

Brinson Moore joined the Syracuse Orchestra as a violinist in 2026.

His orchestral experience includes holding a core position in the Savannah Philharmonic under Keitaro Harada, frequent subbing with the Charleston Symphony, among others.
A native of South Carolina, his early experience included performing as soloist with the Carolina Youth Symphony, the Lander University Chamber Strings, and the Presbyterian College Chamber Ensemble. His professional solo debut was a performance of Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante with the New Jersey Chamber Orchestra.

While earning his Artist Diploma at the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings, he studied violin under Robert McDuffie, David Kim, and Amy Schwarz Moretti. He holds a bachelor’s degree in music performance from Cairn University, where he studied under Yuting Chen and Anne Ku.

He married his wife Chara just after Christmas 2024.
