MEET THE ORCHESTRA

Minjoo Moon received her master of music degree from Manhattan School of Music, where she studied with New York Philharmonic Associate Concertmaster Sheryl Staples. Minjoo will continue her studies in the Professional Studies Certificate program at Manhattan School of Music.

As a performer, Minjoo was selected as violin fellow at Texas RoundTop Music Festival and Canada Orford Music Academy. She was also a winner of the Ruth Widder String Quartet Competition, New York Golden Classical Music Awards, and Lillian Fuchs Chamber Music Competition. Minjoo has performed with Moldova Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra and Collegium Chamber Orchestra as well as with several orchestras as violin soloist.
